Beauty of Bharmour

Beautiful view at Himachal Pardesh
Bharmour

There will be a few times in your life when all your instincts will tell you to do something, something that defies logic, upsets your plans, and may seem crazy to others. When that happens, you do it. Listen to your instincts and ignore everything else. Ignore logic, ignore the odds, ignore the complications, and just go for it.

Meditation Importance

Read it then tells question to us
Meditation for Beginners: 20 Practical Tips for Understanding the MindByLeo BabautaThe most important habit I’ve formed in the last 10 years of forming habits is meditation. Hands down, bar none.Meditation has helped me to form all my other habits, it’s helped me to become more peaceful, more focused, less worriedabout discomfort, more appreciative and attentive to everything in my life. I’m farfrom perfect, but it has helped me come along way.Probably most importantly, it has helped me understand my own mind. Before I started meditating, I never thought about what was going on inside my head —it would just happen, and I would follow its commands like an automaton. These days, all of that still happens, but more and more, I am aware of what’s going on. I can make a choice about whether to follow the commands. I understand myself better (not completely, but better), and that has given me increased flexibility and freedom. So … I highly recommend this habit. And while I’m not saying it’s easy, you can start small and get better and better as you practice. Don’t expect to be good at first — that’s why it’s called “practice”!These tips aren’t aimed at helping you to become an expert … they should help you get started and keep going. You don’t have to implement them all at once — try a few, come back to this article, try one ortwo more.1.Sit for just two minutes. This will seem ridiculously easy, to just meditate for two minutes. That’s perfect. Start with just two minutes aday for a week. If that goes well, increase by another two minutes and do that for a week. If all goes well, byincreasing just a little at a time, you’ll be meditating for 10 minutes a day in the 2nd month, which is amazing! But start small first.2.Do it first thing each morning. It’s easy to say, “I’ll meditate every day,” but then forget to do it. Instead, set a reminder for every morning when you get up, and put a note that says “meditate” somewherewhere you’ll see it.3.Don’t get caught up in the how — just do. Most people worry about where to sit, how to sit, what cushion to use … this is all nice, but it’s not that important to get started. Start just by sitting on a chair, or on your couch. Or on your bed. If you’re comfortable on the ground, sit cross-legged. It’s just for two minutes at first anyway, so just sit. Later you can worry about optimizing it so you’llbe comfortable for longer, but in the beginning it doesn’t matter much, just sit somewhere quiet and comfortable.4.Check in with how you’re feeling. As you first settle into your meditation session, simply check to see how you’re feeling. How does your body feel? What is the quality of your mind? Busy? Tired? Anxious? See whatever you’re bringing to this meditation session as completely OK.5.Count your breaths. Now that you’re settled in, turn your attention to your breath. Just place the attention on your breath as it comes in, and follow it through your nose all the way down to your lungs. Try counting “one” as you take in the first breath, then “two” as you breathe out. Repeat this to the count of 10, then start again at one.6.Come back when you wander. Your mind will wander. This is an almost absolute certainty. There’s no problem with that. When you notice your mind wandering, smile, and simply gently return to your breath. Count “one” again, and start over. You might feel a little frustration, but it’s perfectly OK to not stay focused, we all do it. This is the practice, and you won’t be good at it for a little while.7.Develop a loving attitude. When you notice thoughts and feelings arising during meditation, as they will, look at them with a friendly attitude. See them as friends, not intruders or enemies. They are a part of you, though not all of you. Be friendly and not harsh.8.Don’t worry too much that you’re doing it wrong. You will worry you’re doing it wrong. That’s OK, we all do. You’re not doing it wrong. There’s no perfect way to do it, just be happy you’re doing it.9.Don’t worry about clearing the mind. Lots of people think meditation is about clearing your mind, or stoppingall thoughts. It’s not. This can sometimes happen, but it’s not the “goal” of meditation. If you have thoughts, that’s normal. We all do. Our brains are thought factories, andwe can’t just shut them down. Instead, just try to practice focusingyour attention, and practice some more when your mind wanders.10.Stay with whatever arises. When thoughts or feelings arise, and they will, you might try staying with them awhile. Yes, I know I said to return to the breath, but after you practicethat for a week, you might also try staying with a thought or feeling that arises. We tend to want to avoid feelings like frustration, anger, anxiety … but an amazingly useful meditation practice is to staywith the feeling for awhile. Just stay, and be curious.11.Get to know yourself. This practice isn’t just about focusing your attention, it’s about learning how your mind works. What’s going on inside there? It’s murky, but by watching your mind wander, get frustrated, avoid difficult feelings… you can start to understand yourself.12.Become friends with yourself. As you get to know yourself, do it with afriendly attitude instead of one of criticism. You’re getting to know a friend. Smile and give yourself love.13.Do a body scan. Another thing you can do, once you become a little better at following your breath, is focus your attention on one body part at a time. Start at the soles of your feet — how do those feel? Slowly move to your toes, the tops of your feet, your ankles, all the way to the top of your head.14.Notice the light, sounds, energy. Another place to put your attention, again, after you’ve practice with your breath for at least a week, is the light all around you. Just keep your eyes on one spot, and notice the light in the room you’re in. Another day, just focus on noticing sounds. Another day, try to notice the energy in the room all around you (including light and sounds).15.Really commit yourself. Don’t just say, “Sure, I’ll try this for a couple days.” Really commit yourself to this. In your mind, be locked in, for at least a month.16.You can do it anywhere. If you’re traveling or something comes up in the morning, you can do meditation in your office. In the park. During your commute. As you walk somewhere. Sitting meditation is thebest place to start, but in truth, you’re practicing for this kind of mindfulness in your entire life.17.Follow guided meditation. If it helps, you can try following guided meditations to start with. My wife is usingTara Brach’s guided meditations, and she finds them very helpful.18.Check in with friends. While I like meditating alone, you can do it withyour spouse or child or a friend. Or just make a commitment with a friend to check in every morning after meditation. It might help you stick with it for longer.19.Find a community. Even better, find a community of people who aremeditating and join them. This might be a Zen or Tibetan community near you (for example), where you go and meditate with them. Or find an online group and check in with them and ask questions, get support, encourage others. MySea Change Programhas a community like that.20.Smile when you’re done. When you’re finished with your two minutes, smile. Be grateful that youhad this time to yourself, that you stuck with your commitment, that you showed yourself that you’re trustworthy, where you took the timeto get to know yourself and make friends with yourself. That’s an amazing two minutes of your life.Meditation isn’t always easy or even peaceful. But it has truly amazing benefits, and you can start today, and continue for the rest of your life.If you’d like help with the meditation practice, join mySea Change Programtoday, and take myDaily Mindfulness Practices coursethat’s going on right now!

when google come in all world

Financing, 1998 and initial public offering, 2004

Google's first servers, showing lots of exposed wiring and circuit boards
Google's first production server. Google's production servers continue to be built with inexpensive hardware.[51]
The first funding for Google was an August 1998 contribution of $100,000 from Andy Bechtolsheim, co-founder of Sun Microsystems, given before Google was incorporated.[52] Early in 1999, while graduate students, Brin and Page decided that the search engine they had developed was taking up too much time and distracting their academic pursuits. They went to ExciteCEO George Bell and offered to sell it to him for $1 million. He rejected the offer and later criticized Vinod Khosla, one of Excite's venture capitalists, after he negotiated Brin and Page down to $750,000. On June 7, 1999, a $25 million round of funding was announced,[53] with major investors including the venture capital firms Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Sequoia Capital.[52]
Google's initial public offering (IPO) took place five years later on August 19, 2004. At that time Larry Page, Sergey Brin, and Eric Schmidt agreed to work together at Google for 20 years, until the year 2024.[54] The company offered 19,605,052 shares at a price of $85 per share.[55][56] Shares were sold in an online auction format using a system built by Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse, underwriters for the deal.[57][58] The sale of $1.67 bn (billion) gave Google amarket capitalization of more than $23bn.[59]By January 2014, its market capitalization had grown to $397bn.[60] The vast majority of the 271 million shares remained under the control of Google, and many Google employees became instant paper millionaires. Yahoo!, a competitor of Google, also benefited because it owned 8.4 million shares of Google before the IPO took place.[61]
There were concerns that Google's IPO would lead to changes in company culture. Reasons ranged from shareholder pressure for employee benefit reductions to the fact that many company executives would become instant paper millionaires.[62] As a reply to this concern, co-founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page promised in a report to potential investors that the IPO would not change the company's culture.[63] In 2005, articles in The New York Times and other sources began suggesting that Google had lost its anti-corporate, no evil philosophy.[64][65][66][67][too many citations] In an effort to maintain the company's unique culture, Google designated a Chief Culture Officer, who also serves as the Director of Human Resources. The purpose of the Chief Culture Officer is to develop and maintain the culture and work on ways to keep true to the core values that the company was founded on: a flat organization with a collaborative environment.[68] Google has also faced allegations of sexism and ageism from former employees.[69][70] In 2013, a class action against several Silicon Valley companies, including Google, was filed for alleged "no cold call" agreements which restrained the recruitment of high-tech employees.[71]
The stock performed well after the IPO, with shares hitting $350 for the first time on October 31, 2007,[72] primarily because of strong sales and earnings in the online advertising market.[73] The surge in stock price was fueled mainly by individual investors, as opposed to large institutional investors and mutual funds.[73] GOOG shares split into GOOG Class C shares and GOOGL class A shares.[74] The company is listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange under theticker symbols GOOGL and GOOG, and on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol GGQ1. These ticker symbols now refer to Alphabet Inc., Google's holding company, since the fourth quarter of 2015.[75]

Growth

In March 1999, the company moved its offices to Palo Alto, California, which is home to several prominent Silicon Valleytechnology start-ups.[76] The next year, against Page and Brin's initial opposition toward an advertising-funded search engine,[77] Google began selling advertisements associated with search keywords.[33] In order to maintain an uncluttered page design and increase speed, advertisements were solely text-based. Keywords were sold based on a combination of price bids and click-throughs, with bidding starting at five cents per click.[33]
This model of selling keyword advertising was first pioneered by Goto.com, an Idealabspin-off created by Bill Gross.[78][79] When the company changed names to Overture Services, it sued Google over alleged infringements of the company's pay-per-click and bidding patents. Overture Services would later be bought by Yahoo! and renamed Yahoo! Search Marketing. The case was then settled out of court; Google agreed to issue shares of common stock to Yahoo! in exchange for a perpetual license.[80]
In 2001, Google received a patent for its PageRank mechanism.[81] The patent was officially assigned to Stanford University and lists Lawrence Page as the inventor. In 2003, after outgrowing two other locations, the company leased an office complex fromSilicon Graphics at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway in Mountain View, California.[82] The complex became known as the Googleplex, a play on the word googolplex, the number one followed by a googol zeroes. TheGoogleplex interiors were designed by Clive Wilkinson Architects. Three years later, Google bought the property from SGI for $319 million.[83] By that time, the name "Google" had found its way into everyday language, causing the verb "google" to be added to the Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary and the Oxford English Dictionary, denoted as "to use the Google search engine to obtain information on the Internet".[84][85]
The immense popularity of the search engine has led its fans calling themselves 'Googlists' as they follow 'Googlism', the new religion.[86] Devotees of Google have found a non-profit online organization The Church of Google, a website where they worship the search engine giant.[87] The New York Times had discussed the topic "Is Google God?" under its 'opinion' category.[88] On the Internet, there are many blogs that even mention the reasons why Google is God.[89]

Google’s mission is to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful.

Our company has packed a lot into a relatively young life. Since Google was founded in 1998, we’ve grown to serve millions of people around the world.
